Jersey Foot & Ankle Institute opened its doors in December of last year and has been serving Hillsborough and the surrounding towns in Somerset County since. Our physician, Dr. Ankur Dharia, specializes in all ailments pertaining to the foot and ankle.
With over 14 years of experience, Dr. Dharia provides high quality care of the foot and ankle through conservative and surgical means. Dr. Dharia is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Diplomate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. From bunions, hammertoes and warts, to fractures of the foot & ankle and diabetic foot wounds, Dr. Dharia will explain your diagnosis and walk you through your treatment plan. With special interests in the diabetic foot, trauma and revisional surgery, Dr. Dharia takes pride in having excellent outcomes and meeting the expectations of the patients he treats.
If your child is complaining of an ingrown nail, painful wart or sprained his or her ankle during sports or activities, Dr. Dharia is great with kids of all ages. Common foot and ankle symptoms in kids can include pain in the back of the heels, plantar warts, painful ingrown big toe nails, blisters, and ankle sprains.

Jersey Foot & Ankle Institute accepts most insurances including Medicare. Patients do not usually require a referral to be seen. Our staff will do their best to accommodate and coordinate with you.
